Project Description
Civil Sydney was contracted to complete shoring works to allow for the excavation and construction of the new UV treatment tanks at Hunter Waters Burwood Beach treatment plant.
Civil Sydney and its engineers developed and certified a Sheet pile solution involving the installation of sheets between 6 & 12m long as well as utilising ‘Deadman’ anchors to allow deeper excavation than a standard cantilevered approach.
As well as the sheet piling works Civil Sydney was able to supply full time site support by way of both our 16 & 50t crawler cranes and qualified operator throughout the construction program of the tanks.
