Project Description
Civil Sydney was contracted to construct foundation piles for the Glebe Promenade Sea Wall extension. Works involved construct 90+ permanently cased bored piles up to 18m deep as well as sheet piling works to allow excavation for capping beam and footing construction.
Works had to be well planned to maximise production while working around the tides and environmental controls well maintained to control ground water and spoil discharge from entering the harbour.
Civil Sydney employed a range of equipment to complete these works including our Soilmec R210, Bauer RTG14 and excavators with Vibro hammers.
